Long Term Data
Table 1. Long term data includes data on height at various years and diameter breast height (DBH). Data was not collected for all trees at all years. All trees were the same species, White Spruce (Sw). Row and tree refer to location within each block at Calling Lake Experimental Area (CLEA). ACC indicates the seed source site number, and PROV refers to the seed source region of origin. Trees were sampled from two trials at CLEA, G103h and G103R. There is no significant difference between the two trials.
Figure 5. Box plot representing the tree heights at 32 years for each seed source site. Background color indicates the seed source region. Trees were planted at Calling Lake Experimental Area in 1982 and sampled in 2014. There was only one tree from site YUK1385 surviving in year 32.

Drought Stress
Effect of drought treatment on photosynthetic efficiency.Table 2. Five measurements of photochemical efficiency (Fv/Fm) were taken for each treatment at each site. Data was grouped by site number (ACC) and by region.

Effect of needle water potential on photosynthetic efficiency.Table 3. Five measurements of photochemical efficiency (Fv/Fm) were taken at needle water potentials of -3.5, -2.5, -1.5, and -0.5 mPa for each site. Fv (variable fluorescence) and Fm (maximal fluorescence) were measured separately and calculated later in order to observe the cause of changes in photosynthetic efficiency (Fv/Fm).
